ChatGPT is all the rage currently. Everyone is building apps on ChatGPT

But Indian Government is working on two applications which have the potential to change INDIAN EDUCATION AND SOCIAL WELFARE INFRASTRUCTURE FOREVER.

#APP1

A PERSONAL TUTOR ON WHATSAPP to all 260 Mn Students in India

Govt already has digitised all the curriculum and this data has been used to train ChatGPT.

Now the student can ask question in any language (Hindi/Tamil/Telugu + 20-30 other languages) and in any format (text, screenshot of textbook, voice note, video)

The system would translate input to English Text - get answer in English text from ChatGPT and then translate back to the student’s original language and format.

For example - The student can ask "A MATHS QUESTION like What is the area of a circle which has a diameter of 3 inches?" through an audio note in Assamese then he would get the answer on Chatbot as Audio in Assamese

SEARCH ENGINE FOR ALL GOVT WELFARE SCHEMES ON WHATSAPP

Any user Can ask anything about any Govt schemes

Example: A farmer wants to know how to buy seeds through Govt’s Seed Subsidy Program

He opens WhatsApp and sends a voice note in Hindi.

Receives back a Hindi response explaining the subsidy and the application process.

This would EMPOWER EVERY INDIAN and Multiply of the effectiveness of all Govt Schemes as we are letting the users ask in any language and any format.

THIS IS MAGICAL!!

Government is testing these apps in full steam as they expect the chatbots to receive MILLIONS of real time queries and they want these to work perfectly.

#What I like about these solutions: ❣️ ❣️

First and Foremost - This is coming in from Indian Government so our Govt has finally proven that they have BRAINS to understand latest TECH AND HEART to take on the HARD PROBLEMS

Secondly - The way they have combined existing solutions to come up with these MAGICAL APPS is just so so so ELEGANT (I am gushing while I write this)

But there is another side as well

I am just thinking about the cost of CHATGPT here due to the sheer volume of queries (MIllions of queries a day). This might cost Indian Govt MILLIONS OF DOLLARS DAILY.

You know How many Questions Children Have - Now they got someone to answer those questions. 😁 😁

Hope Satya Nadella, Microsoft and OpenAI are going to waive off the ChatGPT cost.

Mr. Nadella even talked about enabling the second solution in World Economic Forum.

Three Cheers to Indian Government.

We might be on our way back to the "Sone Ki Chidiya" phase.
